Not so harsh a 599 in running condition is rare and we have the big advantage of years of experience and collecting parts.
This one is running in Canada and we must take care of our friends in Canada!

In the worst case scenario we can send him another engine with a special Dutch twist to "terrorise" the streets of Toronto
I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, for now I'll keep riding. Once it does blow up then I'll get a stock replacement, this is already bumping up against the limits of what's legal so I want to keep it where it is in terms of power.

the Dutch twist is very stealthy and ads10-15 KM (7-9 MPH)
Ideal to go with the flow of pedelecs.

And as the distinction goes were the 599 engine is build there are suttle hints on the engine.
The sticker with the enginenumber on the plastic airfilter housing can say Moto Morini Sachs licenz.
But often they disappear in time (sticker)
The ROC build for Rotary engine has no Sachs logo but Rotary cast in to the engine.

The fact that the engine still runs and hasn't any cillinder lining flacking rules for 99% out that you have an in the PRC build engine.
The cathalytic converter, front suspension, plastic mud gards and no Orange front mud gard moped wing ( a legal requirement till 2006 in the Netherlands) is a sign for a late 2010-2014 Saxonette Luxus model.
The chances are very high its an in the ROC build engine.
SYM and KYMCO are wel known quality moped/scooter brands from the ROC.
